Job Title: Civil Enforcement Officer

Salary: £26,421 – £28,770 per annum pro rata (+ additional weekend enhancement)
Contract: Fixed – Permanent
Hours: 37 hours per week

  • Shift pattern: 4 on, 4 off (rolling 8-week rota)
  • Mixture of early and late shifts between 7am and 9:30pm
  • Weekend working (with enhancement)
  • Part-time hours considered – please state your preferred days/hours in your application.

As part of our parking enforcement team, you will play a vital role in ensuring free traffic flow and promoting efficient car park use across Central Bedfordshire. You’ll be enforcing parking restrictions and educating the public, ensuring our community remains a great place to live, work, and visit.

We’ll provide comprehensive training, including on-the-job experience and a Level 2 Award in Parking Enforcement. A full, clean driving licence is required, but we can accommodate a limited number of non-drivers. Standard DBS clearance is also required.
